Getting here

Malba is located in the Palermo neighborhood and is easily accessible by public and private transport:

Bus: several lines stop within a 1–10 minute walk of the museum, including: 10, 37, 67, 102, 124, 130, 59, 60, 118, 93, and 110.

Subway: the nearest station is Facultad de Derecho (Line H), about 700 meters from the museum. Another option is Plaza Italia (Line D), about 1.2 km away.

Bicycle: just meters from the main entrance, there is an Ecobici station (the city’s public bike-sharing system).

On foot: from the Obelisco, the walk is 5.3 km (around 1 hour). From Recoleta, it is about 2.2 km (25–30 minutes) along Libertador or Figueroa Alcorta avenues. From the Ecoparque and Botanical Garden, it is 1 km (around 12 minutes).

Tickets
To save time, we recommend purchasing tickets online in advance, selecting the day of your visit.

Cloakroom
For the protection of the artworks, backpacks, bags, and personal items larger than 30 x 40 cm must be left at the ground floor cloakroom. Valuables can be carried in a special bag provided by the museum. Items larger than 70 x 55 cm and wheeled luggage are not accepted. Large luggage lockers are available at Shopping Alcorta, just meters away.

Personal photography
Non-flash photography is permitted in the galleries for personal, non-commercial use. For professional photography requests, please contact prensa@malba.org.ar.

Food & drinks
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the galleries.

Bicycles & other vehicles
There is a city-provided bike rack outside the museum. Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are not allowed inside.

Accessibility

Malba is a plural, inclusive, and fully accessible space designed to ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors. Families with babies can request strollers and baby carriers at the information desk. For visitors with reduced mobility, the museum offers an elevator connecting all floors, ramps, and adapted restrooms. Wheelchairs are also available at reception upon request.
